I can whole-heartedly say this book will be a hit for families - it has a sweet, endearing message about respecting nature without being preachy....not to mention the illustrations are divine. I quickly snatched up this book for my students, and I'm so thrilled I did. Can't wait to read it for my next read aloud. He loves books but is rarely able to sit through a whole story. He really responded to the personalization of the characters and all of the big feelings.
